政教分离，通常指政治与宗教保持距离。最新有人开始注意到，有（1）“政治离开宗教，不介入不影响宗教”与（2）“宗教离开政治，不介入不影响政治”两个分项。

第一修正案，内容只有“政不干教”，没有“教不干政”内容。
No "establishment of religion" 不准成立國教 [来高于各个宗教]
No“impeding the free exercise of religion”， 保證宗教自由，政治不得干预宗教。同时宗教有自由介入政治影响政治
百分百清教徒一批人制定的憲法修正案，會自綁手腳自斷腳筋，來立法“政教分離”？ 当然禁止“政治干预宗教”，不禁止宗教干预政治，来扩大自己权利，极为合理正常。
多年来我找寻“教不干政”的法律，只有找到两条：
（1）There is no religion test for political office. [候选人的宗教信仰不应成为选举议题。]
(2)Churches and other nonprofits are strictly prohibited from engaging in political campaigning. This prohibition stems from the requirements of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (“Code”).
