Thanks for starting this important topics. As I understand, the biomass fuel does not really reduce the CO2 emission but will save fossil fuel on earth. The most promising and widely available approaches are wind power and solar power. The technologies are all readily available. What takes is the supporting policy from all governments and mass population. Nuclear fusion will still have long way to go. Within 30 years, we may not need nuclear fusion anymore because solar and wind energy may provide enough power for the entire world. Of course, energy storage still be a big problem. If this one gets resolved, we will not be too worry about the energy crisis in a couple of dozen years.
