 | 小学三年级·弦乐教育(2012 String Education) |
| | 2012-03-08 在美国公立小学范围内，三年级开学后不久，各个学校便相继开始向学生们提供免费的小中大提琴弦乐普及教育，聘请专职老师统一教授。学生可以根据自己的志向需求，任意选修其中一项乐器跟班学习。期间若有变故，学生允许从一种乐器改学另外一种，以适应不断变化的兴趣爱好。与此同时，当地的乐器行也会配合学校教学进程，主动上门开展租赁或出售业务。 孩子班上不少同学纷纷报了名，他们当中有些至今从来没有吹拉弹奏过任何乐器，有些倒不乏一定的音乐基础，学过钢琴、小提琴、中提琴甚至大提琴等五花八门的专业。通常每个星期三早上七点半左右，学生要比平常上课提前至少一个小时到校，以集体的方式接受大课训练。
作为音乐熏陶和器乐启蒙，这种免费授课不仅为学生广泛接触多种乐器打开方便之门，而且为年轻一代拓展艺术视野，提高生活品味，陶冶知识情操，创造了得天独厚的先决条件，因此深受广大家长的热烈欢迎。而作为学生本人，如果只是为了亲身体验弦乐丰富生活阅历的话，那么课后完全不必强迫自己生拉硬练，更不必顾虑因父母出资而不得不“珍惜”的问题，从而避免个人兴趣与长辈执着之间的纠结和冲突。
据说孩子学校的音乐指挥在宾州东部地区遐迩闻名，由她监导的管弦乐队水平非同一般。当然，如果你想角逐本校乐队重要席位，光学不练肯定达不到目的。
孩子没有摸过正经八百的弦乐乐器，不过对钢琴弹奏并不陌生。从正式跟陈老师学艺两年来，孩子切身体会出，随着技巧难度层层深入，用时间作保证的基本功训练自然变得刻不容缓，可惜钢琴跟其它乐器一样，被视认为一门不折不扣的表演艺术。世上什么行当如果跟表演艺术沾亲带故，“精益求精” 或者“尽善尽美”立刻化成鸡蛋里挑骨头──吹毛求疵的代名词，千锤百炼每一个音符，说起来容易，做起来堪比上青天！就拿几天前为准备宾州音乐教师协会举办的钢琴三级考试来说，孩子仅仅练习了布格缪勒D小调《塔兰泰拉舞曲》和巴赫D大调《马赛特舞曲》两首曲目，几乎呕心沥血长达两个月之久！
所以，当得知可以兼学小提琴、中提琴和大提琴等一系列花哨的乐器时，孩子并没有像家长们喜形于色，也不打算跟同学们一起随波逐流。相反，他却毅然决然放弃尝试，绝不想叫自己再受二遍苦遭二岔罪。其实，要不是担心这辈子无忧无虑的日子好景不长，孩子巴不得让心绪飞扬，叫兴趣横溢，随欲望膨胀！
