To see if the five-thousand-foot Cinnamon tree

Is still tall and straight

Also, to see if the jade rabbit

I’d look at Venus -

To see if indeed a youthful looking elder

Dwells there, determining

When he’ll come to earth to judge

Or to see the stunning Love Goddess

Or her naughty son Cupid

Flying around, shooting arrows indiscriminately

If I had a powerful enough telescope

I’d look at God of the Universe

To see what he looks like

Or in what fancy building he resides

How he comes and goes with no trace

How he playfully arranges my life, smiling
