2014大選很快就快進行了，時間過得很快，上一屆，當我還是國際留學
生的時候，我也一直默默關注着這次選舉。我很羨慕我身邊一些優秀的同學，加入選舉隊伍，能為自己喜歡黨派和領導人投上一票。（也許有些人覺得這沒什麼，可
是我個人比較政治，歷史，外交，國際關係這類社會科學話題，就是一直很關注這個民主國家的政治動態）。之前在國內，20多年，從未有過任何投票的機會。如
果我能投票，那想必明年將是我人生第一次擁有選舉的權利。
我想和各位和我一樣關注選舉的朋友討論以下這個話題。以下是新西蘭選舉網上官方原文：說擁有PR 後，居住滿一年就可以獲得選舉權。那這個PR 是指獲得居民身份之後的一年還是指 獲得永久回頭簽之後的一年(也就是 獲得居民身份滿三年）？ 如果是前者，我明年底就會有投票權了，很欣慰！作為中國公民我沒體驗過什麼選舉權，但作為新西蘭居民，我能體驗這次民主權利，我很期待！

your family, and New Zealand?
In New Zealand the law says that you must be enrolled on the electoral roll. You must enrol if you:

are 18 years or older, and
-
have lived in New Zealand for more than one year continuously at some time in your life, and
-
are a New Zealand citizen, or
-
are a permanent resident of New Zealand*.
