下面是老公发给美国同事的信。

Good morning my dear colleagues,
 
Somebody may say the earthquake is mother nature\'s revenge on human beings but I realized that it\'s actually a lesson to human beings from the mother nature. I\'ve been seeing too many moving moments since the 5/12 earthquake. I cannot tell which story is the best.
1.       A young mother made a tent for her 3 or 4 month old baby with her own body. When she was found dead by rescuers, her baby was sleeping without being hurt at all. The last words she left for her baby on her cell phone: \"妈妈爱你!\" which means \"Mom loves you!\"
2.       A teacher used his body to protect 4 young students - all 4 kids survived!
3.       Young soldiers having been risking their lives rescuing the earthquake survivors, without sleep in days, without enough food or water. Many of them didn\'t even know whether their loved ones survived from the earthquake or not.
4.       There are just too many stories which got me in tears.
 
I believe the disasters like this earthquake do remind us that we human beings need to take care of each other to survive, to have a peaceful life.
 
My home town is far away from the earthquake center but I do feel these victims are my siblings.
