Traditionally this performance is always done with a piece of Chinese
music. But this time, it was accompanied by Jazz. It's not because it
was planned to use Jazz but the music files brought to the theater by
the Chinese performers do not work with the old styled sound equipment.
So my friend Max Song, as the stage manager, asked the technicians to
find just any piece of music that's not too strong or not too soft. They
found this piece of Jazz. The actor was waiting on the stage for
minutes, facing back, and when the music came, even though not the one
he was expecting, he figured out something must gone wrong, and he
started his part.
So this is the first performance of this kind accompanied by Jazz in the history.
