| Dear Matthias and Jeri, On the day you are united by your Creator as husband and wife, I am prompted to write this letter to you. I love you two so much, my precious children. I'm blessed to have you in my life. I can tell that I will spend some time each day during the rest of my life just to count the blessings you two will continue bring to me. I also want to share with you some of my thoughts on marriage. You probably think that you fell in love with each other, very romantic, and you later found that you two were a good match, very lucky. I witnessed how passionate you were toward each other. I am so happy for you. But I want to remind you the truth behind your love story. It is God who brought you together. It is God who blessed you with love and passion. It is God who arranged your love story with every detail, significant or trivial. Today, it is God who calls heaven and earth as witness to unite you two as one. What God unites, man cannot separate. Keep your total commitment toward each other, toward God until the day of you leave this earth, because God desires this way. He wants your marriage experience that you two are going to go through to bring you not only closer to each other, but also closer to Him daily. If you are aware of your God's constant presence in your marriage, in your life, you will be blessed. You will find out that the first love you feel with each other is only the start, the first stage with which God will shower you with love so deeply, so abundantly, the love from its source, the love from God. This kind of love will prepare you and enable you to carry you through the woes in your marriage. I love the marriage vows. Whenever I heard it, I cry. Because I'm so touched by its content, and I am so aware of that it is a mission impossible by the couple alone. The good news is that God alone, Christ alone can make it happen. You two, please always hide yourselves under His wing to watch how He battles for you when the devil attacks your marriage and family, to see how He transforms you to be more and more of His likeness. My dear children do not struggle to write your own love story, please live out the love story He wrote for you long before your own existence. This way you are going to find out how much more sweet your love will be. It'll taste better day by day. As your mother, married with your father for twenty seven years, I can say this is what happened in my own marriage today. Your God given love story will bless your family, your children, and their children, and generations to come. I want to pass down our family prayer to your family. May the Lord, our Creator and Redeemer, bless us so that all our children He will bless us to have, with all the spouses He bless them to be married with, will be saved by the Savior, will love the Creator, will serve the Lord, will live their lives to glorify the King of heaven and earth. Matthias and Jeri, may you two be a blessing to others! Much love, Your Mom On the day you are married
