「詩14: 1-7」「(大衛的詩,交與伶長。)愚頑人心裡說:「沒有 神。'他們都是邪惡,行了可憎惡的事,沒有一個人行善……。」詩篇第十四篇是大衛寫的詩。而本篇與五十三篇相同,既然聖靈將這篇兩次放在聖經中,可見這些話非常的重要。大衛在這裡稱不信神的人為愚頑人,所以愚頑人並非無知識的人,而是故意不認識神,不聽祂的教訓,認為不用靠神而靠自己生活的人。愚頑人認為世上沒有神,所以他們整個人生的方向和判斷跟著迷失,他們終日所思全是邪惡。因此大衛將愚頑人與敗壞、憎惡、不行善的人相提並論。大衛在這裡,從道德角度來看愚頑人的剛愎自用:「他們都偏離正路,一同變為污穢;並沒有行善的,連一個也沒有。」但神的眼目隨時察看世人,看到那些心中沒有神的愚頑人,他們殘忍的對待神的子民:「他們吞吃我的百姓如同吃飯一樣,並不求告耶和華。」因此這些人必要受到神的審判,所以「他們在那裡大大地害怕。」義人卻不致害怕,因為神在他們中間,是他們的避難所,神的拯救快要臨到那些受苦的神的子民中。因此大衛最後說:「但願以色列的救恩從錫安而出,耶和華救回他被擄的子民。那時,雅各要快樂,以色列要歡喜。」大衛的這篇詩譴責愚頑人,義人卻有盼望,而且他們要快樂和歡喜。為此,願我們今天都不要因不相信神,不接受神的救恩,而成為愚頑的人。而是要接受主耶穌作我們個人的救主,成為義人,這樣我們人生就有盼望!阿們!
