River of No Return 

When one is tired and depressed, sad songs seep into our mind and stay there easily. For some time, River of No Return plays again and again in my mind. It sings like,

There is a river called the river of no return,
Sometimes it's peaceful and sometimes wild and free.
Love is a traveller on the river of no return,
Swept on forever to be lost in the stormy sea.
I can hear the river call, where the roaring waters fall.
I can hear my lover call,"come to me".
I lost my love on the river,
and forever my heart will yearn.
Gone, gone forever,
down the river of no return.
Wailaree, wailaree.
She never return to me.

River of No Return is an old movie about frontier life, where outcasts and outlaws vied to outlive one another, where people live fast and die young. 

The river of life flows into the sea of death. Death is the end of all life’s glory. It is also the ultimate escape from all life’s misery.
