「彼前4: 17-19」“因为时候到了,审判要从神的家起首;若是先从我们起首,那不信从神福音的人将有何等的结局呢?……。”在彼得前书第四章的最后这段经文中,使徒彼得說明信徒应当为主受苦,借此可以荣耀神的另一理由,因为凡一切的事,神都要审判,并且“审判要从神的家起首”。这是指主再来之时基督台前的审判,是以信徒为对象,也就是哥林多后5: 10说的:“因为我们众人必要在基督台前显露出来,叫各人按着本身所行的,或善或恶受报。”这“从…起首”是指受审的先后次序,无论是在今天或是在将来,神的审判都要先从教会开始,然后才及于一般世人,就是基督荣耀宝座前对万民的审判。接着彼得就说:“若是先从我们起首,那不信从神福音的人,将有何等的结局呢?”意思就是,若信徒神尚且要先行审判,“那不信从福音的人”指所有不信主的世人,他们将要受更严厉的审判,结局是相当的悲惨。然后彼得又从另一方面的意思来反问:“若是义人仅仅得救,那不虔敬和犯罪的人将有何地可站呢?”这“义人”指因信称义的信徒,“仅仅得救”是指很不容易,经过千辛万苦,终于得着了救恩,也即艰难地得救。“那不敬虔和犯罪的人”,就是“那不信从福音的人”,也是指那些“从人的情欲”,作种种恶行的人,以及那些毁谤、辱骂、逼迫基督徒的人,“将有何地可站呢?”意指这些人在审判台前站不住脚。最后彼得说:“所以,那照神旨意受苦的人要一心为善,将自己灵魂交与那信实的造化之主。”信徒为主“受苦”是出于神最美善的旨意,祂把苦难量给我们,而祂所量给我们的苦难能炼净我们的信心,让我们更加亲近神,使我们生命越来越像基督。“一心为善”是指全心全意行在良善之中。“那信实的造化之主”,是指那信实可靠的创造主,就是神自己。“信实”是指神必信守承诺,绝不丢弃我们。造化”是指神必成全造物之工,绝不半途而废。为此,愿我们今天都要照神的旨意受苦,且在受苦中一心为善。切勿因苦难而灰心,自暴自弃,跟随恶人行恶,或以恶报恶。而是应将自己的灵魂交在信实的造化之主手中,信赖祂的眷护与安排!阿们!
