話說2015年 波蘭人民沿途熱情歡迎美軍過境

2015年3月底，參加“大西洋決心”演習的美軍第二騎兵團大約550名軍人與120輛“斯特

瑞克”戰鬥車輛從愛沙尼亞出發，長途跋涉1770公里，穿越愛沙尼亞、拉脫維亞、立陶宛、

波蘭、捷克、德國六個歐洲國家，返回位於德國菲爾塞克軍營的基地。車隊在沿途各國受到

民眾的熱情歡迎。

這次行動被暱稱為“龍騎兵旅行”（Dragoon Ride），每天晚上在一個新的城鎮安營駐紮，

所有部隊都露營住宿。美國陸軍第12戰鬥航空旅全程陪同，並提供空中偵察。

“龍騎兵旅行”車隊經過波蘭和立陶宛的情景

按照計劃，美軍車隊在3月29日至4月1日期間穿越捷克境內，達到其

目的地德國菲爾塞克。捷克政府已經對美軍車隊過境行為進行了授權。

3月29日，美軍車隊從波蘭進入捷克邊境小城納霍德（Nachod），

同樣受到當地居民的熱情歡迎。當地人口只有2.1萬，而上街歡迎美軍

的居民多達兩千多人，占全城人口的十分之一。鎮民向美軍送去了

上千瓶當地自產的啤酒。路邊樹起的一面牌子上寫着 “你們晚來了七十年”

（1945年納霍德由蘇軍解放），還有一面標語橫幅上寫着“我們團結

在一起，俄國兵再也不能占領我們（捷克）了！謝謝你們！”

Poland borders Ukraine and Russia, and the conflict in eastern Ukraine has caused anxiety here. Poland says it has trust in Nato's collective security guarantees but it also harbours bad memories of defence alliances with Britain and France that failed when Nazi Germany invaded in 1939.

The mission plans stops in local communities in each country over the 10-day period.

The convoy of US troops driving through eastern Europe was given a warm welcome as it entered the Czech Republic.

In a campaign on Facebook and pro-Russia media, activists had condemned the convoy, pledging to stop it. But opponents were clearly outnumbered by those who came to welcome the troops.
