今天（2018 07 02）跟女儿车去美国一个叫Fern lake湖边度假，路上花了近9个小时。没事做。我鼓励孙女孙子写诗歌。不错。还很配合。开始写的不合韵律。英语诗歌是AA BB  CC  DD; 韵，或者AB  AB  CD  CD，AC,BC。她们写的四句全是AA AA。我让她们重写。惊喜出现了。孙女连着写了6首。初写就比我写的好很多。到底是母语啊。
孙子写了三句。我让他补写另外一句。写不出来。我给他补写了。这样也凑了两首。（下次再发。）

很有成就感。

我现在把她的诗歌发给大家。

外孙女14岁。初次写的英文诗歌，写在去美国蕨湖度假村的路上。

1.
Jesus cares for all his children,
He knows of they've been good or bad,
He loves them when they are happy,
And conforts them when they are sad.

译文
爱民如子，
基督耶稣，
解其良善，
知其罪误。
爱抚其乐，
宽慰其忧。

2.
"Do you have to go pee now?"
said the mama to the kid.
But he didn't need to go.
Peeing in pants was strictly forbid,
But he still didn't need to go.
His bladder said wait,
'Till we're gonna be late,
And then that's when it all overflaued.

译文
"快去尿尿去，"
妈吩咐弟弟。
我们今天出门，
不许尿到裤里。
弟弟还是不去。
他的尿包调皮，
等到都迟到了
已经裤子尿湿。

Red, Orange, Yellow, Purple and Blue,
Spred across the sky in different hues,
A sunset is a lovely sight,
It's God's way telling us all, good night.

译文
红棕黄兰紫，
洒向天空好美丽。
上帝用色采画晚霞，
那是道别晚安的方式。

Panthers are natural hunters of prey,
They are sleek and black and fast,
With a keen sense of smell and a sharp sense of sight,
If you're spotted, you wouldn't last.

译文

黑豹是天生食肉者，
皮毛黑亮动作敏捷。
嗅觉灵敏视野开阔。
如果你真被它盯上，
你会充其腹中食果。

Poems are so hard to write,
When you have no ideas.
Right now I'm in such a plight,
I need a "Eureka".

译文

当苦于大脑空空，
写诗歌真的很难。
我现在身处困境，
多渴望一丝灵感！


6.
Pay day is our favourite day,
It's when we get paied   our money,
But all that money goes to waste,
On buying we never need.

译文
最喜欢的事是开饷，
尤其把钱捧到手上。
结果买了大批垃圾，
堆积占取心中喜狂。


应该说不少地方还须改进，但比我写的英文诗歌好。我太注重语法，句子太沉重。
