【#美國記者稱西方國家雙重標準#】一名美國記者在新聞節目中表示，西方國家在最近香港發生的暴力示威事件上，明顯有雙重標準。西方國家普遍是不會允許在香港發生的這種程度的暴力示威活動在本國出現，一旦出現，必定是以武力收場。他還指出，香港發生的事情是中國的內部事務，而其他國家特別是美國不應該“多管閑事”。

An American journalist told a news program that there was a clear double standard in the west over the recent violent demonstrations in Hong Kong. Violent demonstrations of the sort that happen in Hong Kong are generally frowned upon in the west, and are bound to end in force. He also pointed out that what happens in Hong Kong is China's internal affair, while other countries, particularly the US, should not "meddle in it".
