全面理解语言---成熟的一个标志

语言的理解是个大题目,成熟的标志也同样不小。本文不会就这个题目进行全面的展开论述,而是要通过对一个大家耳熟能详的经典口号的讨论来演示对于语言的全面理解与成熟的关系。

youtube上有一个叫做妈咪叔的频道,播讲者的科学知识相当广泛,科学的功底也比较过硬。他给他的频道选了这样一个有趣的招牌口号:“妈咪说,知识就是力量。”

“知识就是力量”是著名哲学家培根在5个世纪之前提出的。这句口号提出后的几个世纪里,一直是一种鼓励人们掌握知识创造美好世界的正能量鸡汤;但是,当人类文明进入二十世纪后,人们开始意识到这句话的另一层含义:知识并不总是产生正能量的力量,制毒的力量来自知识,细菌战的力量来自知识,淫邪走私坑蒙拐骗的力量来自知识,几乎现代社会的所有的邪恶的力量背后都有知识,而且还常常是自然科学和技术界最先进的知识。也就是说,人们开始认识到“知识就是力量”这句没错,但不等于知识带来的力量都是正面的力量。

从人们对于“知识就是力量”这句话的认识的演化中我们可以看到人类文明的一种成熟度的提高,而这种提高本身实际上是人类在过去5个世纪里付出了大量的由知识的负面力量造成的惨痛代价之后的结果。汉语里人们常用“土气“这个词作为 “见多识广”的反义词来形容人们由于缺乏知识和经验而对于事物的理解力和欣赏力的片面;相应地,由“土”向“不土”的转变就是一种由于见识的提高而带来的思维能力成熟的过程。

黑格尔其实对于相应的问题有过深刻的论述,他说概念自身随着绝对理念的自我实现而不断发展。很显然,黑格尔的论述远没有我这里的讲解通俗易懂接地气------这本身也是人类文明趋于更加成熟的一种表现J由于黑格尔的论述过于抽象,不知在过去两百多年里到底有多少人真正理解了他的意思,但愿不会只有我一个人读懂了他的意思;-)。反正我上学时的哲学老师肯定没有理解,今天的黑学界能够很好理解的人似乎也还没看到。。。J。。。。。。

There seems a logical glitch in the above video: at 4:16, Sabine said that Dirac found the solution always come in pairs, which would logically entail the 1:1 ratio since it is said in the existing theory that there was no matter and antimatter particles but only pure energy (meaning photons?) at the beginning....but at 8:40 Sabine says that Dirac did not predict a 1:1 ratio and we need to give an initial condition........

If Sabine is right here, then the current theory that there was no matter and antimatter at the beginning would be wrong.....the theory should not start with pure energy, but start with some number of matter particles at the beginning, which seems to invalidate the current theory....
