Touch screen display technology is a new type of human-computer interaction input method, compared with the traditional keyboard and mouse input, touch screen input is more intuitive. Through the identification software, touch screen can also achieve handwritten input. The touch screen consists of a detection element installed in front of the display screen and a touch screen controller. When a finger or other object touches the touch screen mounted in front of the display, the touch screen controller detects the location of the touch and sends it to the host computer through an interface (such as an RS-232 serial port).

Compared with other types of touch screen, surface acoustic wave touch screen is not affected by temperature, humidity and other environmental factors, high resolution; good light transmission rate, can maintain a clear and bright image quality; fast response time; there is a third axis (i.e., pressure axis) response, so the application is becoming more and more widespread.
