【注】母亲患有老年性关节炎，每次爬坡上楼都会感到不适，这些日子家里大搞粉刷，到处铺满防溅罩单防尘塑料纸，昨晚落脚楼梯苫布时不慎崴了一下，立刻引起左腿膝盖骨剧痛难忍。今晨星期六醒来，我赶紧呼叫救护车送往附近的社区医院——林间旷地急性护理，早上八点多钟六个床位的救护室竟无其他病人，从医院登记、医生视诊、护士注射“痛力克”酮咯酸(Ketorolac 15 mg)到X光放射结果，前后一个来钟头，比起三月份因扁桃腺脓肿而出入本郡唯一拥有二级创伤中心的父城医院(Abington Hospital)真是天差地别。因此，如果不是急危重症，大可不必进驻人满为患、实习医生当差的大医院。

X光片显示：自上次检查以来，出现严重的髌股骨关节炎，并伴有髌骨低位，可能发展成股四头肌肌腱并发症。

医生诊断：低位髌骨出现间隔，在髌股间室和股骨内侧间室中可见关节间隙变窄、软骨下硬化和边缘骨赘形成，并且在髌股间室中存在骨对骨接触。无髌上关节积液，股四头肌远端肌腱分布表面可见软组织肿胀。

Impression: Severe patellofemoral osteoarthritis with development of patella baja since the prior exam. Underlying quadriceps femoris tendon pathology is possible.

Comments: There is interval development of the Patella Baja. Joint space narrowing, subchondral sclerosis, and marginal osteophyte formation are seen at the patellofemoral and medial femorotibial compartments with bone-on-bone contact at the patellofemoral compartment. There is no suparatellar joint effusion. Soft tissue swelling is seen as superficial to the distribution of the distal quadriceps femoris tendon.
