【注】13岁，杜牧早已替她写好了：“娉娉袅袅十三余，豆蔻梢头二月初。”那枝头的嫩绿花苞，含着露水，将开未开，像晨光里第一道还没完全站稳的光。我家湉妞今年也正好13岁——从扎着两根小辫追着哥哥满院跑的妞儿，渐渐长成一个会在镜子前多停几秒的少女。她开始在意穿什么、梳什么发型，可一转身，又像小时候那样黏着人要抱抱、缠着哥哥问东问西。

13岁，是孩童与少女之间那道薄薄的分界线。既有少女的羞涩与矜持，又有孩子的天真与烂漫。豆蔻梢头，含苞待放——这是人生里最好的时辰之一，像二月初的春风，不急着吹开什么，只是在枝头轻轻碰一下，等花自己决定什么时候开。湉妞，愿你慢慢长，在春风里静静地、美美地，开出属于自己的花。

我仍会记得她扎着小辫追过院子的背影，也会记得她在镜前停顿的那几秒，以及那句“这样好看吗”里尚未被世事覆盖的认真。这些都将在更复杂的季节里，以它们自己的方式，教会我如何继续观看——不是往回看，而是像观察一朵花如何从枝头伸直那样，继续观看。那朵将开未开的花，终将以她自己的方向，长出她自己的形状。而我，只是站在那已泛青的枝头旁，为她即将到来的绽放，留出全部的空间。那空间不必被填满，它本身就是一种等待的方式——等花苞不再需要等待，等春天自己走进来。
