(註: 本文原文是英文, 英文原文如下:) In last 5 days, pushed by CCP overseas propaganda machines, a new phrase “US kill line” has gone viral on domestic and overseas Chinese social media. In every hour there are many new articles, videos and stories around this subject come out. As the result, people suddenly realized that America is a hell, a hell for midclass, a hell for people who are unfortunate, and a hell for people who are hit by any unpredictable sudden events. The discovery is shocking: there is a hidden “kill line” (斬殺線) in American society which dominates American people’s real life. Here is the short description: Every American enjoys life when they are above this kill line. However, once someone’s life falls below this line due to any event, not to mention the lower class, even the middle class will struggle to withstand the blows of life and be taken away in a wave, what awaits you is a comprehensive 'one-hit takeout' from the social system. For an American worker who suddenly receives a pink slip, it equals a countdown to death! What the F! So exactly what is the “Kill Line” and how horrifying is it? Here is the magic number: FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS! Yes, $400.00! Not a penny more. Here is the proof: According to the latest report on the Economic Well-Being of U.S. Households published by the Fed Reserve in 2025, about 37% of American adults still report that they cannot cover an unexpected expense of $400 with cash or immediately accessible savings — these people either cannot pay at all or can only rely on credit cards to “swipe now and pay later”, borrowing money, selling things, pawn, or even resort to high-interest loans. This means that once faced with a minor accidents like a car breakdown, urgent dental care, a child suddenly falling ill, or a water heater bursting, many will immediately slide into the abyss of debt. WOW! I have lived in America for almost 39 years and this is the first time I ever heard such a scary thing. I remember back in the 1980s when I was in graduate school living on $600 teaching assistantship I could afford more than $400, exactly $420 after my GMC hatchback broke down on the road. At that time my total monthly income was less than $900 (I worked in school cafeteria part time) — an authentic low-class or non-class student. The US kill line theory doesn’t end here. According to their argument, $400 is like a small knife cutting flesh, then the medical system is a giant axe decapitating. One example they provided is that someone got a car accident but refused to be taken to ER by an ambulance — can’t afford bills. Sounds like true but according to my personal experience that theory is like a Chinese joke. In 2001 I was laid off by Sprint after 911 economic downturn (I was already naturalizated then). They gave me 6 month severance pay but I only took one month of it — I was hired back within 30 days. Prior to my Sprint job I had a coworker (a friend as well) who declared bankruptcy after failing to pay credit card bills. However, seven years later she bought a 4-bedroom house in KC suburb. It is true that in China everybody needs a lot of cash in bank to live and to survive — if a person doesn’t want to end up on street or doesn’t want their loved ones to be turned away by hospitals when sick. Borrowing money from credit cards? Chinese people often mixed up credit cards with bank debit cards. China’s own safety net is a joke, but they joke about American safety net as wasteful and foolish. Well, that’s American business, isn’t it? The creator of “US Kill Line” theory is a Chinese student who doesn’t have a job here. For him, the “kill line” may or may not be real, but I bet in case he checks into an American ER for any illness, nobody will ask him to pay $$$$$$ upfront (like Chinese hospitals do) and his hospital bills will likely be waived — American tax payers will pay for it. Trust me: if he has a wife and kid here, his kid’s delivery bill probably was paid by you and me, not CCP, not even Chinese community here. This stupid theory has gone viral ONLY because the CCP needs it to make America look really bad and make communist China look great. Facts always speak louder than words. I have seen hundreds even thousands of Chinese in America talking about “US Kill Line” on WeChat, on Chinese websites, and on Douyin, joking about American society, making fun of American democracy and capitalism, but so far nobody expresses their willingness to leave America and go back to their communist China, none, ZERO! Instead, they are attacking ICE for too harsh on Chinese “immigrants”. I think ICE and U.S. Embassy in China need to a little bit “harsher” to those pro-CCP students and immigrants as they may well be the spies or agents of CCP. They really hate America but they do everything to stay here. Why? As EVERY child born in CCP China, I had been taught to wipe out America and the capitalist world after growing up, be a successor of communism. I am a traitor of communism but most others aren’t. America needs to kill the Chinese Communist Line here on American soil.
