温哥华的雨淅淅沥沥，

让人心情有时跌倒谷底，

压抑且无处逃离，

念头从东到西，

思绪在外寻觅,

像飘过太平洋的雾气，

游荡在萧瑟的梦里，

纷杂得没有头绪，

如雨般丝丝缕缕，

又好似深陷在淤泥，

没有自拔的动力，

温哥华常有的季节抑郁...

温哥华的雨绵绵密密，

有幸在这里生活的你，

不只是在阳光明媚里，

拥抱风和日丽，

听闻花开的气息，

还要适时从中抽离，

由外向内迁移，

Vancouver Rain

Vancouver’s rain keeps falling,
a soft, unending whisper.
Sometimes it pulls the heart
down to its lowest place—
a quiet weight, with nowhere to escape.

Thoughts drift from east to west,
the mind goes looking outside itself,
like mist crossing the Pacific,
wandering through desolate dreams,
tangled, without a clear direction—
threads of rain, thin and countless,
or like sinking into mud,
without the strength to rise.
This is the familiar seasonal melancholy
of Vancouver.

Vancouver’s rain keeps falling, close and gentle.
You, who are lucky to live here,
are not meant only for bright days,
to hold clear skies and easy winds,
to breathe in the scent of flowers opening.
You are also invited, at times, to step back,
to move from outside to within,
to turn toward the heart,
and take care of yourself.

Like rain, drop by drop,
we learn and practice,
in changing circumstances,
