DAY 1 Thursday（3/24/2011）上海－關西機場 MU515 9:30 - 12:40 關西機場－京都 The JR Haruka limited express takes about 70 minutes and costs 2980 yen by non-reserved seat or about 3500 yen by reserved seat from Kansai airport to Kyoto. There are departures every 30 minutes.

Note that you can use the non-reserved section of the Haruka Limited Express between Kansai Airport and Kyoto with a JR West Pass - Kansai Area. A one day pass costs 2000 yen.

Alternatively, the trip takes about 100 minutes and costs 1830 yen by the local JR Airport Line and JR Kyoto Line with a transfer at Osaka Station.

By bus:

Direct airport limousine buses from Sannomiya Station(13:20) to Kansai airport (14:25) in central Kobe take about 65 minutes and cost 1900 yen.

By train:

Take a JR rapid train to Osaka Station (55 minutes) and transfer to a JR special rapid train to Sannomiya Station in central Kobe (20 minutes). The one way fare is 1660 yen.
