 | 2010届宾州光华中文学校毕业典礼(2010 GHCS Commencement, PA) |

六月的宾州，正是花红柳绿的季节，也是孩子所在的光华中文学校九年级学生毕业庆典的时候。
这一批大约十五、六岁的学哥、学姐们是学校成立以来第四届毕业生，加起来总共有十四名。
据说八年前，当他们像孩子现在这个年纪的时候，同一年级至少有三倍多的同学。那时，每个星期天的下午，中文学校成了大家不约而同的必经之地。
八年来，中文学习对于英语早已琅琅上口的风华年少来说，好比八年抗战，那是自己跟自己的较量：每一轮的考验无一不是挑战自我，每一次的选择无一不是继续挑战、还是放弃挑战？年复一年日复一日，每一个坚持的背后既有传承经典文化的喜悦，更有苦心雕琢成长的艰辛。
这次，我有幸担当毕业典礼的摄影义工，能够近距离接触毕业生本人及其父母家长。他们身为龙的传人的骄傲之心，他们掌握中文的自豪之举，他们接受毕业证书时的喜悦之容，他们对家人发自肺腑的感恩之情，他们荡漾在心底、那种千金难买的欢乐之际，都是震撼我拍摄的瞬间。我爱它的微笑，因为它特有的自信；我也爱它的神情，因为它蕴藏的执着。
至于自己的孩子怎样才能学好中文？我有感而发。
感受之一：当长辈的我在家，“二外”英语不能坚持，尤其不能跟孩子坚持。其实，我大可不必担心中文的引入对于孩子英文业绩的影响。孩子跟家人相处时，完全可以置英文于度外，或者踏踏实实地兼并英文思想。北京的大栅栏、上海的城隍庙、广州的花市、南京的夫子庙、苏州的玄妙观、2008奥运会、2010世博会等，这些只有用汉语我才说得够劲，只有带乡音我才道得够份！中文不仅仅是炎黄子孙发掘传统之美和现代之爱的工具，更是浇灌孩子心田、哺育孩子心扉的阳光雨露。毫无疑问，孩子能用中文跟我谈天说地之日，就是孩子学业上兼收并蓄、理念上博采众长之时。
感受之二：我要目的明确，外语只是我在外谋生的手段，国语才是我弘扬祖先文化的法宝。同时，我还要看清形势，如果将来想要跟孩子有更高层次的情感交流，中文几乎是不可替代的媒介。坦率地说，与其培养已是半老徐娘的我百尺竿头更进一步，好好拿捏英文段落里的轻重缓急？不如调教稚气未脱的孩子千里之行始于足下，细细把握中文表达时的抑扬顿挫！
感受之三：我应该多多地创造些机会出来，经常带孩子回中国转转，甚至不妨把孩子的夏令营挪到祖国的锦绣河山之中。让孩子耳濡目染，切身体味玄奥的民风，现场感受古老的民俗，悉心品尝浪漫的民谣。我倒要拭目以待，老妈的勇气决心，能不能变成孩子掌握中文的豪情动力？
感受之四：日月逝矣，岁不我与。从孩子抓起，从现在做起！
