[1] always do your best to help your co-workers. it results in easier to get help or resources in the future for yourself.
[2] if you assign a project to your team member or need work together with someone, do NOT use email to make the first contact. go to her/his desk and talk the plan. if you need her/his to do something for you, you need do the most and at least know exactly what it is.
