贝多芬的小提琴协奏曲 (Violin Concerto in D major, op. 61)是我听古典音乐的几首启蒙曲目之一,也是我最喜欢的曲目之一。听过很多遍了,现在一人在家时,偶尔还会打开音响,听一会这首协奏曲。收集的有好几位大师级小提琴家的录音,像 Itzhak Perlman, Jascha Heifetz 和 Anne-Sophie Mutter 的。听来听去,觉得 Perlman 拉得太美,不太贝多芬(相信这些词都不够音乐,没办法,脑子里正经的音乐词汇不多,只好凑合了),Heifetz 拉得太快,显得有些赶,不够从容。有一种说法是 Heifetz 嫌贝多芬罗嗦,曲子写得太长,所以才拉得这么快(道听途说,并无根据)。我自己认为,还是 Anne-Sophie Mutter 处理得最好。忘了是从哪听来的了,说贝多芬唯一的这首小提琴协奏曲简单,和老柴的第一钢琴协奏曲一样,是不少演奏家刚出道时常选择的曲目。我手里的这张盘就是 Mutter 刚出道时的录音(Anne-Sophie Mutter, Berliner Philharmoniker & Herbert von Karajan Original Release Date: April 22, 1985)。

No, I didn't write those "expert commentary", I have to point out - I ZTed most of it, and added a few of my own opinions. I'll have to make that clear in the original piece.
Like your comments about Perlman and Heifetz's versions of this concerto. I also liked Anne Sophie Mutter's version the best, and have posted her recording at my blog before. Unfortunately the videos were deleted by the poster (maybe because of copyright issues - youtube has tightented their copyright control lately).
