The Sharpness of a Sword Comes From Grinding
Cutting meat, cutting meat. While cutting and cutting, I noticed the knife had grown dull. So I sharpened it on the whetstone, and cutting meat became easy once more. If your knife is not used to cut meat, or to cut anything else, then whether you are sharp no longer matters at all. We are like a knife in the hands of God. We should always be used by God to do something good and worthy. If we are sharp, we can break through obstacles. If we strive and press forward with all our might, we will know whether we are truly sharp. And if we are not sharp, we should yield to the Lord, letting Him grind us hard against even tougher stone. To be ground is far from pleasant, yet after being refined and polished by the Lord, we can break through our bonds, we can break through our barriers, we can press even further ahead. We can see the Lord more clearly, and draw ever closer to His heart. . . . . . . October 19, 2026
