Rolling into the middle of November, tree branches became more and more naked without the company of the leaves. Yet, I love this time of the year, especially driving down those scenic roads. Such a scene! J and I have been discovering more places recently due to our spur of the moment discoveries. I didn't really wanted to create a secondary blog initially, as I already have my own blog. However, thinking that J and I don't have a blog together, this might be a good idea to create and weave our journey together. It's such a lovely day outside, thinking what I should make for dinner tonight! :) On a side note, so that I recieved a letter and a new picture of Enat yesterday (my sponsored-daughter in Africa). I sent her $75 for her birthday last month. She and her mom decided to purchase another cow with the money; and of course, the updated picture has the new cow, her mom and her (a bit taller). I looked at the picture and smiled. It's the best gift I can get at the end of a hectic day. However, due to the issues with traveling to Africa, I might not have a chance to meet her much later on. I visited Allan and Clare the other day. It has been about a month since I last visited them. And this time, Clare has more silver linings than before. My heart ached because of that. And by Allan telling me that Clare's alzheimer condition isn't doing better, but only worst as the time progress, my heart ached even more. She is a person who has a lot of influence in my life. In fact, she is still my favorite teacher till today, despite she had taught me many many years ago. Thinking how life is, Clare is my special person in life; and I probably will be Enat's special person. Who is your special person in life? |
