Lord, I Want to Go Home!

New born baby, cooing and crying,

Home is where mommy is;

Cute and innocent,

No worry of sins.

Young adult, healthy and strong,

Home is wherever I go;

Taking up life challenges,

No time to think of HIM.

Late adult, no longer perplexed,

I missed my home;

Indulging my life away,

Struggling with my sins.

Near life’s sundown, I can not find home.

Mountains and rivers are the same,

Lord, please take me home.

Cross the river,

There’s a house in my courtyard

Lord! I hear you’re talking to me.

Lord, I want to go home,

I want to go home!

A new life in the Lord is budding!
