晚上回來，上網一看，以前公司的同事們正在紛紛留言祝賀father day。Jack 以前的辦公室和我的辦公室是隔壁，他又經常喜歡打聽點中文方面的知識，所以我們很熟。前兩天他還在我的facebook上用中文給我留了一段話，不知道的 人會以為Jack會寫中文，Jack也會很自鳴得意。不過這點小把戲是瞞不過我的火眼金睛的。他準是寫了一段英文，copy 到姑姑翻譯器上，再把姑姑翻譯出來的中文copy給我。嘿嘿！蒙誰呀。不過能想到這一招，也算夠聰明的了。以前我們在公司里，我就經常用這種方法和 Jack 過招。啊，跑題了。還是回到父親節的話題上來。為了求證是不是每個父親都喜歡一頓美食作為父親節的禮物，昨天晚上我在facebook 上給 Jack 留了這麼一段：
Hey, what you get on father day? An article said the best gift farther like on father day is a good meal. Is that true?
中文譯文：“嘿，父親節你得到什麼禮物？有一篇文章說父親節最好的禮物是一頓美餐。是這樣的嗎？”
今天早晨打開facebook，看到 Jack 給我來了一段回復，大出我之意料之外：
Yes...a meal is a nice gift for fathers day. The only problem is when I went for dinner with my family...I still ended up paying the bill. I think that happens a lot on fathers day :) Did you make your father pay too?? :)
