Being invited first time to attend an activity. I thanked and refued due to low interest and schedule conflict. i noticed that I never get the same invitation again.

one guy all by himself alone these days since the rest of his family visit back to china. it seems he is not used to cook and everything routine things by himself as his wife used to do everything in the house. so i causually invited him to have dinner with me together that he didn't have to cook. he first promised then came out some excuse like phone call scheduled at that time. honestly, i'm a bit disappointed. eventhough a few more weeks to go b4 his family come back, i'm plan to make the same invitation again.

first invitation, could be the last one too.

to me, it's more than just an invitation. it's a sign, a signal of further solid friendship, or whatever it could mean. especially when the further relationship is still in process of building up, or the relationship is changing its nature.  i guess except when a man is chasing a girl, he may not make second invitation to you to watch a game in his home, to travel together, etc. if he recieved a no at the first time.
