If I could, I would avoid the "climate change" cultists. Even though I think I'm open-minded enough, I still can't put up with their mantra-like choruses. Some of them are supposed to be future scientists, for heaven's sake.
Not too long ago "global warming" was all the rage. Then, haltingly some climate scientists talked about the probability of "global cooling." Now it is "climate change" which sounds like a middle-of-the-road compromise, politically speaking.
Science respects no politics. It looks for nothing but the truth. Climate-wise, the truth is still out there. In Shakespeare's play "A merchant of Venice" Launcelot preferred the phrase "The Truth Will Out." We'd better follow science, not politics, and let the chips fall where they may. In the meantime, of course, we go on protecting our environments and keeping our air and water as clean as possible.
Still I wonder why the "climate change" cultists let the PRC and India get away with their carbon-intensive industries.
