I have a feeling that the philosopher whose name was quoted the most is from Germany; however, the one who has truly influenced the course of human history is Karl Marx. His communist ideology had a decisive influence on hietory and made people tasted a life as human.

In 1990, Norway established Government Pension Fund Global to save income from oil for future generations. The Ministry of Finance made the first capital transfer to the Fund in 1996 and then the net cash flow from petroleum transfers to the Fund each year.

Due to that “One day the oil will run out, but the return on the fund will continue to benefit the Norwegian population.” “Oil revenues make it possible for Norway to maintain its welfare system,”

Today; the rational Norwegians created Government Pension Fund Global has invested globally in wide range of fields, even if without oil resource, it is still able to make profits to Norwegian.

Look at Russia

1920s, Soviet nationalizing economy made power rivalry with the West.

1990s, Boris Yeltsin made privatization destroyed the Russian economy.

2000s, Vladimir Putin beat the oligarchs to have renationalized the economy; then stopped Oil and gas private owned of making wealth for individuals, and turned to create wealth for government.

Now, by its single force; Russia is about to defeat the west exhaustedly fueled Ukraine; which actually is the state-owned economy defeating the private owned economy of the west gathered.

Think about that, Putin gets all the incomes from oil and gas sales. 

Look at Canada

Think about our Canada; under idiotic democracy; it has been specially looking for doing stupid. We has the same abundant oil and gas as Russia, but only gets small taxes; cannot get huge profits. 

People globally have been used to the life of capitalism and market economy, now in facing the unreasonable rising of the price in daily life necessaries; there no one would ask that where is going of profit from unreasonable high price？No one would realize that it is financial economy in looting real economy.

2012, resigned Canadian deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland published book Plutocrats: the rise of the New Global Super-Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else indicates that:

The Plutocrats hijack State Apparatus; so that they are able to exercise immense and unchecked power for greedy in evilly messing human world to make the Fall of Everyone Else.

Wealth, corruption, and populism are no longer constrained by national borders, this new Gilded Age is already transforming the economics of the West as well, the entire globalized world is concentrated in fewer and fewer hands. 

As a transglobal class of successful professionals, today’s self-made oligarchs often feel they have more in common with one another than with their countrymen back home. Bringing together the economics and psychology of these new super-rich, Plutocrats puts us inside a league very much of its own, with its own rules.

The 2008 financial meltdown cost $4 trillion in economic output, fortunes were made by the very people who precipitated the disaster while millions lost their homes and their savings.

The New Global Super-Rich Plutocrats made the Fall of Everyone Else, a joblessness, debt, and economic uncertainty to the sovereign nation of the plutocrats, where each crisis seems to offer a new business opportunity. 

In China, "by controlling both the economic and political institutions of their nation, the richest members of China’s National People’s Congress have amassed more wealth than every branch of American government combined--the president, his cabinet, the justices of the Supreme Court, and both houses of Congress."

Note: Chrystia Freeland was born in Alberta Canada, a Rhodes Scholar winner,  studied Russian history and Slavonic Studies at Harvard University and Oxford University. Once worked as a journalist in Ukraine and editor at Financial Times, The Globe and Mail and Reuters. 

In 2019, Chrystia Freeland said Liberal democracies are being "hijacked by angry populist politicians, “the doubts creeping in inside liberal democracy… liberal democracies that are becoming totally polarized societies, divided into these hostile – even warring – tribes who can’t talk to each other, and societies that have been hijacked by angry populist politicians;” ” where “the details may be unique but the basic storyline is the same.”  

Chrystia Freeland is a rebellion of democratic capitalism.

In the face of an increasingly chaotic world, especially the man made decline of real economy of the life-necessaries manufacturing; the foundation of human existence is being destroyed. Now, it is the time that we must rethink human civilization in social governance.

For which we have to understand the formation of the communism; which relates the difficult process of humanizing industrial civilization in recent centuries.

The Great Britain was the first industrialized country in the 1700s. At that time, a large number of farmers left their farmland into cities, so that the supply of labor exceeded the demand. Due to the harsh working environment, industrial accidents occur frequently with a large number of work-related injuries; even the death was not compensated. The situation of workers was tragic.

In the U.S., between 1888 and 1908, industrial accidents killed more than 700,000 workers and killed about 100 people every day. In 1901, there one of 26 railway worker was injured, and one out of every 399 people died. The death was without any compensation at that time.

On July 4, 1894, it was on the National Day of the United States, in Chicago, it was not only did not hold a celebration, but instead, the federal army carrying Green-type machine guns killed 13 of 125,000 railway workers who were on strike.

Lawyer Clarence Darrow who witnessed the scene and was shocked: human blood sprinkled on the largest slaughterhouse in the United States, and which caused him deep suspicion that freedom and equality were just a principle written on paper? Does the company have some kind of privilege?

He decided to defend the arrested workers' leaders.

He resigned as a lawyer for the Northwest Railway Company that everyone envied. Joined the workers, due to his successful defense, the leaders of the railway union were eventually sentenced to six months in prison.

In May 1902, there 150,000 miners in the western Anthracite Coal Mine of the United States went on strike, demanding an increase in wages and recognition of the legal status of the union, which triggered the most serious industrial crisis in American history, until October, the both sides were still in a stalemate.

In order to mediate the strike, President Theodore Roosevelt authorized the formation of the Arbitration Commission, and as well-known lawyer for defending railroad workers, Clarence Darrow was also among them.

Clarence Darrow asked the company to take the accounts to the court to make it clear. This was the first time that an unconstrained American company has been supervised by public opinion.

Mr. Darrow profoundly understands the meaning of poverty for life. In such concern, he once wrote a short story called "The Boy on the Mine", by which tells a ruined child.

In February 1903, the Americans heard such a defense: If the civilization of this country is maintained by the hungry of miners and laborers, and by teenager children picking up coal in the dusty anthracite coal mines; the sooner we end this civilization, the sooner we start a new civilization, the better it will be for humanity.

In terms of how to start a new civilization, Clarence Darrow said in the opening remarks: On the way to here, I determined to make every effort to make the employers and employees no longer hate each other as that of before.

On Mar. 21, 1903, the verdict was announced: the daily working hours of workers were shortened to 9 hours and a 10% salary increase was obtained.  

This was the great progress of human civilization.

It was just such tragedies inspired Karl Marx to produce the communist vision.

The co-founder of Marxist theory, Friedrich Engels once published <The Condition of the Working Class in England> based on personal observations and research in 1845. He narrated as that: workers are seen as living tools, poverty is seen as a personal matter, unemployment is even considered to be detrimental to economic development, and therefore, wages are kept to a minimum, thereby reducing the costs of the production.

The tragedies inspired Karl Marx to think about the greed of capital: "With adequate profit, capital is very bold. A certain 10 per cent. will ensure its employment anywhere; 20 per cent. certain will produce eagerness; 50 per cent., positive audacity; 100 per cent. will make it ready to trample on all human laws; 300 per cent., and there is not a crime at which it will scruple, nor a risk it will not run, even to the chance of its owner being hanged. If turbulence and strife will bring a profit, it will freely encourage both. Smuggling and the slave-trade have amply proved all that is here stated.”

Talks to here, I think of that the intention of Karl Marx's communist vision is at that how to make human beings get rid of the harm of free play of greed of human animal instinct, thereby lives a humanized way as higher animal should be by contributing what oneself can do, while taking what oneself needs.

The communist vision of Karl Marx promoted communist movement and triggered the socialist practice led by the former Soviet Union for over 70 years and which involved the countries of half of world. 

Now, though the socialist practice has basically collapsed, but the communist ideology has rooted far-reaching influence. To this day, even if in those veteran capitalist countries that once and still vigorously oppose communism and socialism, but they still reserve the socialist-style state-owned economy and the communist-style social welfare and security system from the cradle to the grave. It shows that Marx's ideological brilliance is still creating happiness for the people world widely.

Now through large scale nationalization and based on which established comprehensive communist style social welfare system has developed as unbearable burden, due to market fundamentalism encouraged private capital unlimited plunders on public wealth.

People never get rid of animal instinct for civilizing with rational sense, in 100 years later today since Karl Marx visioned communist idea, many people are cursing Karl Marx and his communist ideology, while eagerly striking for enjoying more communist style social welfare without sense to contribute for.

When European began to think about how to repair social diseases, in the United States, as early as 1865, President Abraham Lincoln who worried about the expansion of company rights, he said at the time of the end of his life: the company has been over hailed, and the corruption in high-level will come. The money powered group will try to extend its rule by influencing the people's prejudice until the wealth is accumulated a certain extent in the hands of some people, they will lead to the demise of the United States of America.

The prediction of the most great President Abraham Lincoln was right, the corruption in high-level has been actively playing their role. The money powered group has reached their purpose by influencing the people's prejudice, thereby successfully extends its ruling. However, they did not make the demise of the United States, but, has kidnapped it as Evil Fortress as a place of endlessly nurturing evil by made it as the source of the evil in the world today, which is more evil than that of the demise; such as, by over developed financial economy plundering the real economy, by rapid innovations of toxic financial instruments looting the wealth of public,......

 The communist society that truly belongs to higher animals-human beings has been vilified into evil by the money powered group; in contrast, the human animal instinct - selfish greed drove Capitalism has been beautified as a savior. With the help of increasingly powerful financial instruments, capital is greedily plundering on real economy, which is in brainlessly destroying the manufacturing - the producer of life necessaries - the cornerstone on which humans depend for survival.

The failure of communist practice is not due to the public owned nature, but, as same as that of the arrogance of capitalist practice, it is due to the lack of awareness and control of the animal instinct of human beings.

The failure of the socialist practice was not fully due to the Autocracy Governance and the Planned Economy, but essentially was due to that it over relied on the human culture nature by madly suppressing the exertion of greedy of human animal nature under the enforcement of State Apparatus.

The success of the capitalist practice is not fully due to the Democracy Governance, but due to the Market Economy that benefits society by meeting the greedy of human animal nature through gaining profit according to the needs of the society in the marketplace. 

Feb. 09, 2014, in article Management is the Art of Playing Human Nature; I indicate that Human behaviors are determined by dual natures: The cultural nature of those acquired altruistic qualities, and natural (animal) nature of those inborn selfish instincts. The Management is to finish purposeful tasks with the culture nature driven by meeting the animal nature with payment under the enforcement of regulations. Therefore, the Management is the Art of playing human natures.

Whether the Corporate Culture or the Organizational Culture, they all should be composed of the measures that can motivate the maximum exertion of employee’s cultural nature with minimum play of employee’s animal nature to maximize the production efficiency.

There were a lot of researches on the economic success of China, and most of them attributed the success to the magic of the Invisible Hand. But, that was not fully true with ignored the essence - it was that China has broken the egalitarian wage system, that implemented for decades in the socialist period, to have largely increased the share of work performance-related payment.

In consideration of market competing, Adam Smith's Invisible Hand is mainly driven by human animal nature - selfish and greedy.
