Last Friday, we went to watch the Swan Lake, played by Royal Ballet. Tchaikovsky’s music was so familiar to me, but it was the first time I saw the ballet. Almost every girl has a dream to be a beautiful ballerina when she is young, and Swan Lake is the very definition of classical ballet.
They had a fabulous performance. The duet of Odette and Prince tell the audience the story of their love. In act 3, prince danced very cleanly (he had solo here), Odile had perfect 32 fouettes. However, their love story ended in tragedy.
I just think why all great love stories have tragic ending, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Liang Zhu from China. Does only the tragedy make people remember their young life and their forever love? I just remembered that somebody said “the death is forever”, so sad.
Wish every couple having a happy ending. |
