As though the world’s Four Great Crises were not enough, capitals of both the Eastern and Western Camps wasted no time in launching a smothering fight. Vladmir Putin had made up his mind to solve the Ukraine problem with a so-called Special Military Operation. Biden sent anti-tank weapons to Ukraine, forgetting he himself announced just a couple of days ago that the U.S. would not interfere in the Russian-Ukrainian war, because Ukraine is not part of NATO. Putin exhorted him by saying any power aiding the Ukraine military is taken to be an enemy, and Biden, to his credit, wisely cancelled the planned intercontinental missile test.
As Putin’s strategic coupe de grace against the West in Ukraine stalled, the West including Japan, which was busy in engaging a diplomatic-economic conflict with the SCP (the Special Color Party) in China for more than two years in a row without a way out, suddenly found exhilaration in Europe that the Russian-Ukrainian war provides. They overwhelmingly become aggrieved by the war for the Ukraine people but say nothing to comfort the Russian parents, wives, siblings and posterity of the wounded and the fallen soldiers. So much for capital’s humanitarianism.
The annual inflation rate in the U.S. rises now to a forty-year high at 7.9%. If the war and economic assistances to Ukraine and NATO will be included in the next couple months, it will be with little doubt that the inflation rate will climb to a much higher level than it’s now. In the West, re-armament goes viral as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the inflation or even worse, the slumpflation, will threaten the West without any doubt as a major economic bottleneck. Capitalist warfare would not bode well for the shirt sleeves crowd for sure and the rich will certainly get richer, although rounded slick talkers of the main-stream media would never tell you this.
The working class of the world need to know how this world fares in the future and especially now before it becomes too late.
A world-wide antiwar movement will be the only means to stop it, at least for now, the kleptomaniac capital and its corporate handlers from accelerating and deepening the Great Four Crises threating the whole world. In March 2003, there were close to ten million people all over the world except in SCP’s China rose up demonstrating in streets against Bush, Jr. and his new-conservative petroleum clique’s invasion of Iraq for possession of mass destruction weaponry, which had never been found. This time we need hundreds of millions of people rising up to demonstrate against the war, including people not only in Russia and Ukraine but, most importantly, also in SCP’s China that has a billion pairs of eyes looking the miscreant crony-bureaucratic-comprador capitalists into silence, as a result of SCP’s relentlessly reactionary ultra-nationalism and pseudo-compatriotism hocus pocus.
If and when the anti-war movements fail to stop the capitalist wars, more effective, though difficult and far-reaching strategies, including active organizations of the working class for uprisings in preparation for the socialist world’s revolution, certainly will stop all wars, large or small; long or short.
It’s historically true that successes through scandal cannot be long-lasting and capitalist success is one of them. Labor’s quandary over either enduring the multiple-century-long waged-slavery system or choosing the future socialist system must and will be stopped by participating in the world-wide antiwar movement.
As our great leader and teacher, Chairman Mao said, “The world is in great chaos, and the world is in great order. Come again in seven or eight years. Bull ghosts and snake gods jumped out on their own. They are determined by their class nature and have to jump out.” (Chairman Mao’s Letter to Jiang Qing, July 8, 1966). Capital’s day is about to vanish together with the socialism-phobia, because crises have taught people only a brand-new social system can save them from danger and indeed from inextricable plight by means of righting the “unrightable”.
It’s an irresistible historical trend in the world to go from chaos in the world to great order in the world! It is the law of general social development; either war causes revolution, or revolution stops war. It is impossible for capital to automatically withdraw from the stage of history. If you don't fight, it won't run away by itself as usual. If you want to fight, there will be chaos, and if you fight harder, there will be bigger and wide-spread chaos. But don't be afraid of chaos, because it is an inevitable law that history has confirmed and unmistakable. ... The world is in chaos, the more chaos the better. Only in great chaos can great governance be achieved. Chaos means the enemy is in chaos, and if it is not broken, we will not be able to stand up. If you find no future, you want to change the present, you have to do it, you need to make a revolution!
