"Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO.)" The Economical Darwinism - "Fear Of Missing Out - Some of the competitors will flame out and some will do really well, and that’s just how capitalism works." https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/16/technology/what-exactly-are-ai-companies-trying-to-build-heres-a-guide.html?unlocked_article_code=1.mU8.OtwT.CqgSvXUOkG8-&smid=url-share AI should be taken as a tool for augment of human's un-ending pursuit of new knowledge. I defined: "AI as "Smart Encyclopedia Based on Machine Evolution" (S.E.B.O.M.E.)" https://blog.creaders.net/user_blog_diary.php?did=NTEyMDM0 As AI becomes a self-aggrandizing doxa, few comments are critical or open-minded. The above-mentioned comments are rare. Capital induced and ordained AI, no doubt, has to be reckoned with great care. Of course, as the sebome properties as well as essence of AI have become clear, people will understand AI's self-bragging simply as a selling point with a religious flavor. https://blog.creaders.net/u/12901/202508/522235.html One of the dangers brought out by AI is that, as mentioned above, it fails to gain enough traction that can justify its trillion-dollar investment, rendering those once magnificent data centers lawns overgrown with weeds. In order to maintain good-looking bottom lines, capitalists would put the burden of all the investment-losses to the working people as inflationary goods and services. Had the unemployment rate gone rampant because of either AI or secular movement, say 25% which would be on par with that of the Great Depression, social unrest couldn't go anywhere but up. Capitalism has been sustained continuously as long as five hundred years without being torn apart by either alien or opposing forces, will it destroy all by itself? If one doesn't believe so, one has to ask why those domestic political- and social-forces have fallen so much apart that violence and hostility among them have become commonplace. Is this kind of internal conflicts caused by internal division of economic, political, and social-class interests temporary? Will the AI movement become a force of compromise and equal benefit among all? [Mark Wain 09-16-2025]

Smart Encyclopedia Based On Machine Evolution (S.E.B.O.M.E.)”
