纽约堂叔
堂叔按：我们老中先是哭着喊着要留在美国，山姆大叔心一软就把大伙儿收留了。回过头来，立刻发现美国不但没有为新来的人铺红地毯，居然连鲜花和掌声也不给一点，失望之余，就此种下了美国对咱黄皮肤的老中搞“种族歧视”的情结。另一方面，我们老中总是下意识地排斥美国文化，就像本文的题头所说，美国就是美金好。做了美国人，心里还老是惦记着天朝: 北京烤鸭小笼包，飞来飞去两头跑。堂叔以为，想要让人家不歧视，就要一点一滴地融入美国社会，学习和接受美国文化。
今天，我想试试带着大家一起来学唱英文歌。为此我选了几首流行的英文歌曲，其特点是：流行度广，旋律和歌词都极优美，易懂易学易唱易记，没有声部的问题；和中国的红歌不一样，完全没有高八度英雄般的光明结尾。不懂英文，从未学过歌唱的老头老太都可以很快朗朗上口。
