親愛的大地母親啊  向你致以崇高的敬意

我們美麗的家園啊  只是宇宙中的小不點

浩瀚漂渺的上下空間

只見那點點繁星燦爛

太陽啊  送給你光明

月亮啊  與你結伴而行

你從遠古匆匆走來

一次撞擊帶來了永恆的風采

那天使般的小行星  以身相許

太量的爆炸  點起熔岩紅色的衝天火焰

讓你眼中的聖潔之水

滔滔而落  注成大洋湖泊

那江河溢出的娟娟細流

是你那甜酸苦辣的淚

讓第一批偉大的生命出現

走向每一片荒蕪

你昂着頭走過了冰世紀

跨越了火山  讓熔漿造地

你海納百川  讓數不盡的生命

生長壯大  代代繁衍

你無私奉獻棲息地給我們人類

以及那包羅萬象的大自然

你帶着萬事萬物一起環行

神聖的引力  無聲地唱着牽夫的愛 晝夜向前

你不停地鑄造着山川  不辭勞辛

像那巨型的摩天之輪  從不休眠

可你的善良溫柔 卻遭受蹂躪

甚至 來自那些你慷慨催化的生命

啊  大地母親 你永不停息地吐故納新

奔向神秘的未來  大步流星

Ode To The Earth

the earth we salute you our dot
in space

nothing above, or below except
other lonely dots

shined on by a bright sun, and
a loon of moon

from eons you came alone, pounded
into submission

by asteroids red, explosive molten
flares

allowed your tears to pool as seas,
and lakes

rivers flooded, flowed streaming
anguished tears

allowing primitive life forms to
propagate

through ice, earthquakes, molten
moulding

you accommodated life in all forms
to grow, and prosper

a home for the whole of nature, and
finally man

all the while held in spins on spin
by gravitational pull

your moulding unfinished continues,
as you spin all alone

putting up resignedly to the desecration
of creatures spawned from your generosity

never resting always in flux into the uncertain
future you go
