美国第一位女诗人
Anne Bradstreet (1612-1672)
 - Born in England in 1612, daughter to Thomas Dudley, a clerk
 - Married Simon Bradstreet (1603-1697) in 1628 at the age of 16.
 - Moved to Boston (The New World) in 1630 with her husband and family
 - Considered by many to be the first American poet
 - One of the few published female writers at the time
 - Published two volumes of poetry
 - died in 1672
 
     她的父亲是一位伯爵的管家，1622年，起用了刚从Cambridge毕业的Simon作他的助手，那时Anne刚十岁。不久，Simon和她父亲又都不再为伯爵工作。分别了几年之后，Anne十六岁时，嫁给了Simon。所以，对Anne来说，Simon一定是她的初恋情人，加上有宗教的信仰，两人相爱，虽然过的是简单而艰苦的生活(十八岁就来到美国)，却很幸福。有八个孩子。
 
     所以，为了赢得Anne的爱情，Simon根本不需要做什么，实在是他也做不来什么。因为Anne爱他，所以他就拥有她一切的爱，虽然他配不配得到，我们不知道。所以，Anne就是神给他的恩赐。

     这使我想起李清照(1084-?)来。离别生情添思念，柔肠万般化新愁。中国女子原本一点也不少痴情啊。那赵明诚又是何等的运气？只可怜命短。Simon君却是高寿94上才死的。
