Bright moon happens rare
I hold wine and ask Lord
Up in the palace of Heaven
Tonight is in what year
I'd like to go with the wind
But my only fear is the jade palace
In the high sky is too cold a place
Dancing with your clear figure
It's never like among the people

Turning around red pavilions
Stooping across silk-draped doors
Shining onto sleepless millions
Shouldn't have any hatred
Still why you full often when humans separated
Men may be sad, glad, away, or together
Moon may be dim, bright, round, or thinner
The thing has never been forever
Wish people of their longevity
Share across thousands miles her purity
