Praise -- Praising God for who He is, His attributes, His name or His character.
Attribute: God is our friend!
朋友的定義: One who is attached to another by affection of regard, supporter and confidant.

約翰福音15：13-15 13 人為朋友捨命，人的愛心沒有比這個大的。 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14 你們若遵行我所吩咐的，就是我的朋友了。 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 以後我不再稱你們為僕人。因僕人不知道主人所作的事。我乃稱你們為朋友。因我從我父所聽見的。已經都告訴你們了。 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
雅各書2：23 23 這就應驗經上所說，亞伯拉罕信神，這就算為他的義。他又得稱為神的朋友。 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend.
路加福音11：5-13 裡面講到堅持不懈祈求的朋友的故事， 13節 “ 何況天父，豈不更將聖靈給求他的人嗎？ how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
路加福音5：20 20 耶穌見他們的信心，就對癱子說，你的罪赦了。 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven."
今天的讀書分享是《Prayer Warrior Mom: Covering Your Kids With God's Blessings 》一書中，第八章 ”Be Persistent " , 裡面引用了馬丁路德的一句話：“Prayer is not overcoming God's reluctance, but laying hold of His willingness.", 嘗試翻譯下：禱告不是去勉強上帝，而是在持守上帝自己的心意。 想起我們牧師分享他的禱告名單，他長期為一些人的得救禱告，有個人因為太長時間，十幾年了，幾次想把他從名單中划去，可是每次都有感動說繼續為他禱告，後來在禱告了20多年後，那人信主了。 這一章書裡分享了幾點堅持不懈禱告的意義，很多牧者教會都講過，我很喜歡書裡講述一個見證的總結，見證里的姐妹經歷了孩子嚴重疾病，丈夫事業不順利的人生風暴, 上帝一路供應她，給她力量走下去。 書中寫到 ”Don't dread the difficult times， Take them and say, "Thank You, Lord, that You count me worthy to learn more about You through desperate situations. "
