《五律 冬至 》

转瞬霜冬至，农家热炕烧。 
清汤翻水饺，味道入云霄。 
眼瞅绵羊肉，涎垂韭菜苗。 
仙班朝下看，羡慕世寒窑。

Frosty winter is arriving fast as eye blinks, 
as farmer's claybed heats up above flames. 
Dumplings boiled all over the clear broth, 
while the aroma mingles into the clouds. 
Just can't take eyes off the mushy mutton, 
while fresh leeks stirring up more craving. 
Even celestial dignitaries are peeping down, 
envying life in the drab earthly cave town.
