Political linguistics is the study of the relations between language and politics. Language is used as a means to form a state and is enacted in various ways that help achieve political objectives. Language allows for people in a very large number to communicate with each other in a large scope to the effect that a state is formed.^[1] As language forms the basis of communication, politics is thus affected by language.^[1] [2]

Political linguistics is a performance. In order for the public to have positive sentiments towards a party, a politician will carefully craft their manifesto in order to convince the reader of their credibility.^[1] These political parties will then be part of a system of communication between the state and the governed, which helps them influence opinions and also their power.^[1][2

我现在已经出版了第二版。第二版做了重大修改，英文也大大改善了。第一版的英文很差。有的英文不符合英语习惯。下面的这个英语短语就是不对的，就是不符合英文习惯。我以前不知道这一点。后来有个美国人告诉我不能这样写。这就是：in a large scope。这个短语翻译成中文的意思是：在一个大范围内。维基百科的编辑将我的这个错误的用语也照登了。你在上面的英文里面就能看见了。说明我当时写第一本书的时候英文还不行。现在已经大为改观了。这是因为我出版第二版的这本书的时候，我换了一家出版社。这家出版社的编辑将我的书从头到尾读了一遍。他指出了我的很多英语写作错误。我后来都修改了。
