英譯蘇軾《念奴嬌。赤壁懷古》

大江東去，浪淘盡，千古風流人物。 

故壘西邊，人道是，三國周郎赤壁。 

亂石穿空，驚濤拍岸，捲起千堆雪。 

江山如畫，一時多少豪傑。 

遙想公瑾當年，小喬初嫁了，雄姿英發。 

羽扇綸巾，談笑間，檣櫓灰飛煙滅。 

故國神遊，多情應笑我，早生華髮。 

人生如夢，一尊還酎江月。

The Yangtze River ran eastward, 

The ancient distinguished people were washed away completely by the rolling waves.

West of the ruined post,

There was what people called:"Mr.Zhou's red cliff at Three Kingdoms Era"

Where rocky mountains pierced into the sky, 

The billowing waves slapped the shore and formed thousands of white rapids.

Oh what a beautiful country with such picturesque scenery!

For that time there were so many legends.

Thinking back to the time when Mr. Zhou married Xiaoqiao, 

How handsome and strong he was!

His hair was tied up high with a piece of cloth 

A feather fan was held in his hand 

He destroyed the enemy's fleets in the fires while chatting and smiling 

As I toured this historical country today, sensibility should laugh at me,

Because I had grown gray hairs

Life was like a dream.

I would pay tribute to the deceased 

by pouring a cup of rum in the moon shined river.
