What does physics study? or What does science study? Theoretically the concept has kept changing. The newest one is Popper's falsification that has been accepted commonly as a practical criterion even though it has its own problem both in theory and practice.
Heidegger claimed that Physics actually just studies the change of object, but not the object itself as being, or sein in German. Therefore, He has commented to his German fellow Einstein, the greatest physicist ever, as such:
Einstein’s theory of relativity is not about time but only about the measurement of time.
If we read some high school physics text book in high school or college, physics often is described as a study of the law of motion, so Heidegger seems right , at least to some extent.
We come back to the question we asked at beginning, What does physics really study? or in other words, to what extent Heidegger was right ?
The answer could be different if we talk about it from philosophical or scientific point of view. if so, what is the relation between them ?
