At the midnight, Emperor Yan (aka. Third Wolf Zhang, Zhang the Butcher, Turquoise Emperor, Shaohao, as shown in Figure 2.9.2-39) had explored the entire palace and could not find his mother's residence. He was puzzled by an abandoned courtyard and decided to take another look. As soon as he entered the overgrown back garden of the palace, he heard someone talking in the bushes. Emperor Yan hid in the bushes alertly. He saw the back of a person but could not hear what they were talking about. Suddenly, the person left and went to the residence of his father Original Sky Honor. Emperor Yan looked closer to where the two of them were talking, but did not see the other person, so he chased after the person who left. Emperor Yan saw the person enter Original Sky Honor's palace from a distance and followed him in. The servant said, "You came so late, there must be something urgent. I will report to Original Sky Honor immediately. He has just come back from a stroll, must not be asleep yet!"

Emperor Yan stopped the servant and replied, "No need! I just saw someone entering my father's bedroom and was curious! So, I came to take a look, I'm going back to sleep now!"

第二天早晨在國會上，炎帝提出了國家財政困難，精兵簡政等議題，受到了與會官員的贊同。他很高興，但惦記着後宮那座荒廢的庭院，就在中午的休息時間又來看。剛一進入這座宮殿的後花園，他又看見元始天尊在那裡和人嘮嗑呢！他悄悄地從樹叢中靠近了元始天尊，聽見他在對一處草叢說話：“孩子回來了！他昨晚又來看你了！已經來看你兩次了。三郎現在知道迴避危險，保護自己了，可聰明了！玉珠！你安心地睡吧！他也很孝順，給我洗腳。。。”

The next morning at the National Assembly, Emperor Yan raised issues such as the country's financial difficulties and streamlining the military and government, which were approved by the officials present. He was very happy, but thinking about the deserted courtyard in the backyard, he came to see it again during the lunch break. As soon as he entered the back garden of the palace, he saw Original Sky Honor chatting with someone there! He quietly approached Original Sky Honor from the bushes and heard him talking to a patch of grass: "The child is back! He came to see you again last night! He has come to see you twice. Third Wolf now knows how to avoid danger and protect himself. He is so smart! Yu’zhu! You can sleep peacefully! He is also very filial and washed my feet..."

元始天尊離開後，炎帝過去查看，扒開了草叢，看見了一塊無字墓碑（如圖35）。從墓碑的頂端花紋來判斷，這是一座皇室成員的墓碑。他又四處查看，判定石碑的後面是一座墳墓。炎帝回憶起了媽祖把玉珠交給他時說過的話（參見2.3.3 《媽祖家宴 》），認為這就是自己的母親（玉珠，法號九天玄女）的墳，癱倒在了地上。

After Original Sky Honor left, Emperor Yan went over to check it out, peeled back the grass, and saw a wordless tombstone (Figure 35). Judging from the pattern on the top of the tombstone, it is a tombstone of a member of royal family. He looked around again and decided that behind the stele is a tomb. Recalling what Mazu had said when she gave him Yu’zhu (i.e., Jade Pearl, see 2.3.3 “Mazu Family Feast”), Emperor Yan decided that this is the grave of his own mother (Yu’zhu, Juristic fame of Ninth Sky Mysterious Woman), and collapsed to the ground.

2.9.2-2

財務大臣邀請來了幾個銀行的行長，談貸款的事。幾個小時過去了，炎帝卻沒來。他們請求靖王（武大郎）去找炎帝。武大郎到後宮找了幾個地方，沒發現炎帝，就來太后的墓墓園找了。他在遠處看見炎帝哭得很兇，還時不時地打自己。武大郎知道這時元始天尊和蔻珠正在對炎帝做法，用母愛詛咒他，賜予他無窮的力量；所以武大郎就直接去找元始天尊報告了。

當時元始天尊正在和蔻珠嘮嗑，聽了武大郎的報告後，驚訝地叨咕：“他為什麼打他自己？”

蔻珠回答：“去看了才知道。”

The Minister of Finance invited several bank presidents to discuss the loan. Several hours passed, but Emperor Yan did not come. They asked King Jing (Martial Big Wolf) to find Emperor Yan. Martial Big Wolf went to several places in the palace and did not find Emperor Yan, so he went to the Queen Mother's Tomb Area to look for him. He saw Emperor Yan crying fiercely from a distance and beating himself from time to time. Martial Big Wolf knew that Original Sky Honor and Kou’zhu were making law (doing magic) to Emperor Yan at this time, cursing him with Motherly Love and giving him inexhaustible power, so he went directly to Original Sky Honor to report.

Original Sky Honor was chatting with Kou’zhu at the time. After listening to Martial Big Wolf's report, he muttered in surprise: "Why does he beat himself?"

Kou’zhu replied: "You'll know when you go and see."

2.9.2-3

他們三人在遠處觀察炎帝，看見在比劃着和自己說話，時而流淚時而打自己。元始天尊走過去對炎帝說：“我不喜歡你打你自己！”

炎帝立刻過去給元始天尊跪下了，請求原諒。

元始天尊問：“你為什麼打你自己？”

炎帝回答：“我發現我是個狼心狗肺的東西，不是人（注3）！”

The three of them observed Emperor Yan from a distance and saw him talking to himself with gestures, sometimes crying and sometimes beating himself.

Original Sky Honor walked over to Emperor Yan and said: "I don't like you beating yourself!"

Emperor Yan immediately went over to Emperor Yan and knelt down to ask for forgiveness.

Original Sky Honor asked, “Why did you beat yourself?”

Emperor Yan replied, “I realized that I am a wolf-hearted dog-lunged thing, not a human being (Note 2)!”

Note 2.9.2-3, which is the Buddha's Enlightenment. Illustration 21 was drawn by Mexico (aka. Tlaloc), stating, “My kind-heart was eaten by a dog; I am not a man, but a livestock.” Illustration 42 is a Greek statue of Actaeon at the time of his enlightenment to become Apollo, the sun god, indicating, "My kind-heart has been eaten by dogs.” Fig. 39 is the Emperor Yan with Yu’zhu (i.e., a jade pearl) in his hand. Figs. 40, 41 are Emperor Yan after being reborn as a dragon (or rather a real human, a man made by Nuwa). Emperor Yan was captured by his mother, Ninth Sky Mysterious Woman (as shown in Figures 36, 37, and 38), and returned to her belly. “Luoyang” was thus named. The first half of this book, Chinese Codex, is the epitaph written by Turquoise Emperor (Emperor Yan) and “King-Mother Queen of the West” (Big Nest) for “Ninth Sky Mysterious Woman”, the words above the wordless tombstone shown in Figure 35.

元始天尊假裝憤怒地說：“你是在罵我，還是在罵你媽呢？”

炎帝回答：“我感覺奇怪，為什麼我從來沒想過我的母親？我認為這事的原因是這樣的。我從出生開始就是由傭人照顧的。在我媽給我餵奶的時候，傭人把我的眼睛先蒙起來。我媽在為我奶的時候不說話，餵完奶後就默默地離開，再由傭人解開我的蒙眼布。當我一歲的時候，我的丈母娘蔻珠和我媽說笑着給我和她的女兒大巢氏訂婚了，把我帶到了乾塘關的北面。蔻珠把我放到了樹林邊的一塊空地上。我媽從遠處向我衝過來後又離開了。我被嚇哭了。然後，蔻珠把我的眼睛蒙上後送給了媽祖。我那時很小，沒感受到母愛，所以我對母親的感覺弱。這是我很少想母親的重要原因之一。”

Original Sky Honor pretended to be angry and said, “Are you cursing me, or cursing your mother?”

Emperor Yan replied: "I feel strange, why have I never thought about my mother? I think the reason is this. I have been taken care of by servants since I was born. When my mother was feeding me, the servant covered my eyes first. My mother did not speak when feeding me, and left silently after feeding, and then the servant untied my blindfold. When I was one year old, my mother-in-law Kou’zhu and my mother talked and laughed about engaging me with her daughter Big Nest and took me to the north of Qiantang Pass. Kou’zhu put me on a clearing by the woods. My mother rushed towards me from a distance and then left. I was scared and cried. Then, Kou’zhu covered my eyes and gave me to Mazu. I was very young at that time and did not feel the mother's love, so my feelings for my mother were weak. This is one of the important reasons why I seldom think about my mother."

元始天尊聽後，沉默了一會兒後說：“聽起來，那是在給你做觸目（參見第三章《觸目》），那是誰給你啟蒙的？”

炎帝回答：“在我兩歲的時候，我的養父母禮敬公和媽祖帶着我去看我的爺爺鄧國公。鄧國公說他家的池塘里的魚有一米多大。他們就去釣魚了。沒多久，鄧國公就喊，‘來人吶！大魚咬鈎了！’ 禮敬公和媽祖就去抓魚了，把我扔在了空地上。我的丈母娘蔻珠就來了。她像似前一年，我媽媽向我衝過來的動作一樣，向我衝鋒。隨後她就離開了。隨後，鄧國公就領着我出來看他們倆釣魚。結果，媽祖去河裡沒抓到那條魚。禮敬公把被媽祖打了一棒子的魚給放生了。媽祖生氣地把他推到池塘里了。”

元始天尊迷惑地說：“45年前的事，我記不清了。我再想想。”說着他回去了。

元始天尊出來後，對武大郎說：“你看着炎帝，別讓他再打自己了。我得和你的蔻珠姐姐商量一下，下一步該怎麼做。”

After hearing this, Original Sky Honor was silent for a while and then said: "It sounds like they are making Touch-Eye to you (see Chapter 3 "Touching Eyes"), so who unfolded your blindfold?"

Emperor Yan replied: "When I was two years old, my adoptive parents, Publican Etiquette Salutation and Mazu, took me to see my grandfather, State Publican Deng. State Publican Deng said that the fish in his pond were more than one meter long. They went fishing. Not long after, State Publican Deng shouted, 'Come on! The big fish has taken the bait!' Publican Etiquette Salutation and Mazu went to catch the fish and threw me in the open space. My mother-in-law Kou’zhu came. She rushed towards me just like my mother rushed towards me the year before. Then she left. After my revelation, State Publican Deng took me out to watch them fishing. As a result, Mazu went to the water but didn't catch the fish. Publican Etiquette Salutation released the fish that was hit by Mazu. Mazu pushed him into the pond in anger."

Original Sky Honor said in confusion: "I can't remember what happened 45 years ago. I'll think about it again." Then he went back.

After Original Sky Honor came out, he said to Martial Big Wolf: "Watch over Emperor Yan and don't let him beat himself again. I have to discuss with your sister Kou’zhu what to do next."

2.9.2-4

武大郎走過來對炎帝大聲說：“朝會上財政大臣們和幾家銀行的行長等你等得着急了，讓我來找你。我就遇見元始天尊了，他說你在這裡。哎呀！你的臉怎麼了，被誰打了？是我大哥，元始天尊，打的嗎？”

炎帝回答：“我自己不小心碰了一下，有那麼嚴重嗎？”

武大郎回答：“不太嚴重，那也明顯得可以看出來！我看今天你是不能見銀行的行長們了。這都已經四點鐘，得趕緊打發他們離開，否則就得招待他們吃飯，還得花錢！”

Martial Big Wolf came over and said loudly to Emperor Yan, "The finance ministers and the presidents of several banks were waiting for you at the court meeting and asked me to come find you. So, I met Original Sky Honor, and he told me you were here. Oh! What happened to your face? Who hit you? Was it my elder brother, Original Sky Honor, who hit you?"

Emperor Yan replied, “I accidentally touched it myself, is it that serious?”

Martial Big Wolf replied, "Not too serious, that's obvious enough to see! I don't think you'll be able to see the bank presidents today. It's already four o'clock, so we have to send them away quickly, or else we'll have to entertain them for dinner and pay for it!"

炎帝回答：“這對！我麻煩你去給他們道歉，改天我再約談他們。”

武大郎說：“好，不着急！元始天尊讓我看着你，別鬧出什麼事來！怎麼的？今天上午，你說要裁軍，我沒說話。實際上，我同意。保留三分之一的軍隊數量就夠用。其他的人送他們回家種地或者做買賣。他們納稅，我們就有錢了。這說法我也贊成！”

炎帝說：“我說裁軍10%或20%。我不懂，不知道這國家需要多少軍隊。”

Emperor Yan replied, "That's right! I'll trouble you to apologize to them, and I'll make an appointment to talk to them some other time."

Martial Big Wolf said, "Okay, there's no rush! Original Sky Honor asked me to keep an eye on you and not to make any trouble! What's going on? This morning, when you said you wanted to disarm, I didn't say anything. Actually, I agree. Keeping one-third of the army's numbers is enough. Send the rest home to farm or trade. They pay taxes, then we have money. That's an argument I agree with!"

Emperor Yan said, "I said 10 or 20 percent disarmament. I don't know enough to know how many troops this country needs."

武大郎回答：“你認為自己不懂；我認為我懂。我有目前軍隊數量的10%就夠用。我要把軍權交給別人，所以我說裁軍三分之二，已經留有餘地了。這事慢慢來，不着急。”

炎帝說：“國家這麼大，這麼多事！一個月後，我得去湖北參加蟠桃博覽會，去抓黃帝（即後裔，大禹；參見3.0 阪泉之戰）。我們創造了這麼多的財富。抓住黃帝，讓他來繼承這個國家是我目前最重要的任務。”

武大郎沒出聲。過了一會兒，炎帝又哭了。

Martial Big Wolf replied, "You think you don't understand; I think I do. It is enough for me to have 10 percent of the present number of troops. I'm going to hand over the military power to someone else, so I've left room for maneuver by saying to disarm by two-thirds. It's a matter of taking time, there's no hurry."

Emperor Yan said, "The country is so big and there are so many affairs to do! In a month's time, I have to go to Hubei for the Peach Expo to catch Yellow Emperor (i.e., Descendant, Big Yu; see 3.0 The Battle of Ban Fountain). We've created so much wealth. Capturing Yellow Emperor and letting him inherit this country is my most important task right now."

Martial Big Wolf didn't make a sound. After a while, Emperor Yan cried again.

武大郎又假裝着急地說：“哎！哎！好！不着急！我先替你管理裁軍的事，等你從湖北回來了再把權力轉交給你。現在，我想去送那些銀行的行長們離開；但是元始天尊讓我在這裡看着你，他怕你想不開。”

炎帝說：“你去吧！我不打我自己了！好好跟人家說，我這剛當皇帝，不能總是這樣無禮地更改日程計劃。”

武大郎回答：“好！我去告訴他們：改天你會請他們喝杜康酒！”

Martial Big Wolf again pretended to be in a hurry and said, "Hey! Ai! Good! There is no hurry! I will manage the disarmament affairs for you first and then transfer the power to you when you return from Hubei. Now, I want to go and see those bank presidents off; but Original Sky Honor has asked me to watch you here; he is afraid that you won't be able to think straight."

Emperor Yan said, "Go ahead! I won't beat myself up! Tell people nicely that I've just become an emperor, and I can't always change my schedule plans so rudely."

Martial Big Wolf replied, "Good! I'll go and tell them: you'll treat them to Dukang Alcohol some other day!"
