Beef Meatballs
This meatball dish is easy to make and very health for you.I have tried them several times, everybody in my family likes this dish. Serves: 4 Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 50-60 minutes Ingredients: Meatballs . 16 oz. ground beef (80% thin,20% fat) . 1/2 tsp. dry oregano . 1/4 tsp. celery salt . 1/2 tsp. salt . 1/2 tsp. beef flavor bouillon . 1/2 tsp. garlic powder . 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper . 1 egg, beaten . 1 Tbsp. corn starch . 1/3 cup green onion,finely chopped Sauce . 3 Tbsp. canola oil . 15 oz. tomato sause . 1 tsp. beef flavor bouillon . 2 tsp. Chinese aromatic vinegar(chinkiang vinegar) (you should be able to buy it from a local Chinese grocery store) . 1 cup water . 1/4 cup light brown sugar Directions: 1. In a large bowl,combine ground beef,oregano,celery salt,salt,beef flavor bouillon, garlic powder,black pepper,corn starch and green onion by hand. 2. Roll meatballs to about the size of a golf ball in hand, set aside. 3. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix well oil,tomato sauce,beef flavor bouillon ,Chinese aromatic vinegar(chinkiang vinegar), light brown sugar,water.Then cover until boiling. 4. Slowly drop raw meatballs into the saucepan until boiling. 5. Reduce heat to low,and simmer 50-60 minutes,carefully stir them 2-3 times during the process. Then serve.
