This incident happened recently in North Texas .

A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke 

(某个星期天，一位女性带了一些罐装可乐去游船)
which she put into the refrigerator of the boat.

(上船之后，她将可乐放到船上的冰箱中。)
On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit.
She died on Wednesday.
 (星期一她就被送到当地医院加护病房，然后星期三就过世了!!)

The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis. 

(经法医解剖验尸后，确定她是死于细螺旋体病。)
This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass. 

(这病毒是由她所喝的饮料罐上所追踪出来，因为她没使用杯子。)
Tests showed thatthe can was infected by driedRATurineand 

(检验结果显示这瓶可乐罐已被老鼠尿给污染了)
hence the disease Leptospirosis.

RAT urine containstoxicand deathly substances.

It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part
ofallsoda cans before drinking out of them.

The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and transported straight to the shops without being cleaned.
 (因为这些饮料罐基本上在出货前都是堆在仓库中，

A study at NYCU showed that the tops ofallsoda cans are more contaminated than public toilets (i.e.).

 full of germs and bacteria.
