Rejoice! The waning moon will wax again,
And bands of music will proceed in train;
The yellow moon is bent and lean with age,
But will renew and then be free of pain.

一，七绝

赏月会她圆缺意，
听琴启我抑扬诗。
婵娟老病应消恨，
来日新芽吐桂枝。

2(S. G. Tirtha, 895）

Your gracious feet have paced the highest plane,
Creator in creation you explain;
And with a single finger and intent,
You rend the Moon in twain and wash her stain.

二，七绝

高足登天入广寒，
道生一二说因缘。
匠心挥指斫蟾桂，
撕裂月宫洗锈斑。

That Moon which is by nature skilled in metamorphosis
Is sometimes animal and sometimes vegetable,
Do not imagine that it will become non-existent—away with thought!
It is always possessed of its essence though its qualities cease to be.

三，七绝

善舞婵娟百态妍，
桂香玉兔照人寰，
月魂不信永恒死，
 体灭性存天地间。

At Naishápúr or Balk the days will pass.
And changing moons with silver flood the grass,
The bitter draught be mingled with the sweet,
The sands of life keep running through the glass.
 

四，七绝

他乡故国月相随，
芳草铺银潮汐飞，
半苦半甜常独酌，
杯中沙漏月盈亏。

注∶波斯文原文首句的巴格达和巴尔克两个地名，英译改为纳霞堡和巴尔克，中译简化为“他乡故国“。巴格达在珈音的时代是阿拉伯世界的政治、经济和宗教中心，巴尔克是位于阿富汗北部的祆教（俗称拜火教）中心，今天是一个小镇。纳霞堡是诗人珈音的故乡，当时是繁华的京都。

The light of the moon has cut the black robe of night:
drink then of wine, for one finds not often moments so precious.
Yes, abandon thyself to joy, for this same moon will shine
over the surface of the earth a long time [after our day].

五，五律

月光似剪刀，裁出夜衣袍，
七夕同尊酒，两情望碧霄。
我方寻落拓，汝亦醉逍遥，
他日断魂里，月俦依旧高。

Saki, bring roses for this sad one's hair,
And set a bowl of rubies for him there;
And you, O moon, dance, dance, and dance and dance,
That the poor fellow may not think of her.

六 酾客

酾客，请把蔷薇插在愁人发间，
酾客，请把红酒端到愁人座前，
举酒月入尊，对舞舞翩跹，
可怜他不解风月不思共婵娟。

注∶酾客是古伊朗宴席间上酒的侍者或托盏者，无性别之分，往往是美貌的少男少女，郭沫若译为酾客，或音译为萨基。

Ah, Moon of my Delight who Know'st no wane
The Moon of Heav'n is rising once again:
How oft hereafter rising shall she look
