Using Dr. Zelenko’s Protocol to Combat COVID 19, Death Rate is Close to 0 On the July 1 interview (1), Dr. Vladimir Zelenko shared that he has treated 2200 COVID 19 patients from March to June with his protocol and only 2 patients have died. Among these patients, 800 of them are either over 60 or have a chronic condition. None of patients treated with the medicine had any serious adverse event. Based on these numbers, the death rate for Dr. Zelenko’s COVID 19 patients is 0.1% with 95% confidence interval of 0 to 0.3%.(2) On July 27, Dr. Stella Immaunuel gave a speech during a press event. She claimed she had treated 350 Covid 19 patients at her clinic using a combination of hydroxychloroquine, zinc and azithromycin, and none of them died. She said that she believed that we have the cure for Covid 19. Based on her claim, the death rate is 0% with 95% confidence interval of 0 to 1%. (3) On Sep. 15, Dr. Brian Tyson (5) shared his success in treating 1650 COVID-19 patients with no deaths using triple therapy (hydroxychloroquine, zinc and azithromycin) on KUSI news. He also shared his concern about the efficacy of the vaccine and said that triple therapy can serve as a temporary solution. A couple of weeks later, he appeared on One News Network and said HCQ absolutely saves lives. (4) He believed that we should open up society right now. Up until now, no mainstream media has covered his story. Based on his statement, the death rate of Dr. Tyson’s COVID 19 patients is 0% with 95% confidence interval of 0 to 0.2%. If we combine all these patients together, the death rate for the COVID 19 patients treated by these three doctors with triple therapy, hydroxychloroquine, zinc and azithromycin, is 0.1% with 95% confidence interval of 0% to 0.2%.

Dr. Zelenko shared his protocol in mid March. Up until now, there has been no paper written for the research study based on his protocol. (6) This is a very strange situation. There is a very promising treatment out there that can cure COVID 19 and open up society, revive the economy and save a lot of lives. But it has been ignored by most major main stream media. Even social media sites have suspended doctors’ accounts for promoting it. Why? Who is behind all this? What is the purpose? Political power or money? We should try to find out. China, South Korea, and India have been using hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19 patients. They haven’t reported any serious adverse events. Why does the western media describe hydroxychloroquine as a dangerous drug?

Why do we not need to wait for a randomized controlled trial to verify Dr. Zelenko’s protocol? The purpose of a randomized controlled trial is 1. Make sure the result is not random 2. Compare the effect of two treatments when the two effects are close We already have several doctors demonstrating that the protocol has great success in treating COVID 19 patients. This rules out the chance that the result is random. The effect of Zelenko’s protocol is overwhelming with an extremely low death rate and very narrow confidence interval. None of the other treatments are close to that. We can easily make the conclusion.
