My family doctor, Dr. David, a Taiwanese, followed my progress. In about 2013, he said to me: "I'm not a psychiatric professional, but I love psychiatry, and now I read their papers a lot to keep up with psychiatric research. I feel I am qualified to give you a general statement about your illness." Dr. David said: "I've heard it all very clearly, and the cure for your illness is: you go back to your country, find your enemies, reconcile, and settle as many of those old, rotten things as you can. If those things happened to you in North America, those psychiatrists, once they hear it, if they think that's what's going on. They will help you find the person you are looking for and set you up to meet and talk. They can do that very quickly. They have a system in North America that's very good. We say this is useless, even if it's good, it's not going to work, because what happened to you happened in China, so you're on your own. Dr. David continued, "The rest is a matter of taking one step at a time: of dealing with it. Mental illness can cause a lot of other illnesses; your future is unpredictable, so this is the best plan. What does that mean? Let me give you an example. You have a bad stomach and intestines right now. The stomach and intestines are the most emotional organs. That you had that kind of emotional experiences in the past, and your stomach and intestines are behaving the way they are right now. It's not surprising, not to say inevitable, which can be said to be a concomitant of psychosis. The way to combat this, you now drink a lot of water. Drinking water is a good treatment! More water washes out those irritating gastrointestinal secretions and reduces the corrosiveness of the irritating secretions. If you've had enough and don't want to drink more water, we'll do a full workup to find out which irritant is making the pain unbearable. Dispense medicine, like an acid-base combination, and use it to remove the irritation from that irritating discharge. When you've had enough of the medication and don't want to take it anymore, we'll operate and cut out the bad organ with a knife. You have to understand with the current level of medical care, drugs can't make a bad organ better." I felt despair after hearing that! Even if I had surgery to gut me, it wouldn't solve my favor complain love and revenge with Eve Liu and her father.
Principles of Curing Mental Illness
In 2014, after I wrote “Luyan’s Memoirs”, I established three principles for treating mental illness. My illness is a combination of 50 years from childhood to adulthood, the past, the present and the future, because the unconscious and the preconscious are not sequential and temporal, and because of the non-coverable nature and mutant nature of unconscious (see Section 11.4.5, "Sense Node" and Section 11.6.1, "Mutant Fruit"). The nature of mind is affair; mental illness is also called “illness of favors complains loves and revenges”. Its essence is improper interpersonal and social relationships; the cure is to mend the interpersonal or social relationships. I am going to seek out Eve Liu to resolve this matter face-to-face, because unconscious only processes present quantity (see section 11.4.5, the relationship between eight senses and three quantities). In section 7.7, Eve Liu said that “If people do not meet, the mental illness cannot be cured”, that is because unconscious only deals with present quantities. If the treatment method does not produce present quantities, unconscious (ancient as God-sense) receives no information, there is no therapeutic effect. I will give significance to this medical experiment; the basis is that when painful experiences have meaning, the pain disappears. This is the theory of modern psychology; the ancients also believed that thoughts and feelings follow significance. According to this principle, I will write a good report on the experiment of the reincarnation of the soul, and then find a way to publish it and pass it on to future generations, so that the death of Troupe Leader Liu will be well deserved and will be remembered for generations to come. The No.1 Impediment to Treatment of Mental Disorder In Section 8.7, "The Person Initiates Stories", that ex-girlfriend gave me two advises about psychiatric treatment. First, don't trust psychiatrists; 85-95% of psychiatrists don't understand psychosis. Mental health patients go to doctors because they don't understand psychiatry, they can't tell who's right and who's wrong. You just read your own psychology books and treat yourself. This ex-girlfriend was right. I recalled my Uncle Dragon telling me three or four times when I was a child that "85-95% of psychiatrists don't understand mental illness"; this suggests that Troupe Leader Liu thought so too. And the most difficult thing I had to do in treating my own illness was to fully debunk the American Psychiatric Manual (DSM-5; see Figure 10.6-2).
How is it wrong that the American Psychiatric Manual is the collective work of thousands of psychiatrists in the United States! The Manual sets standards and gives recommendations based on statistics of thousands of psychiatrists' diagnoses and treatment measures, not on psychological principles and clinical treatment effects. How is it possible that they do not decide whether the treatment measures are correct or not based on the effects they produce! Because based on the therapeutic measures given by them, not a single case of satisfactory therapeutic effect can be found. They serve Song-Profit Kings, not the mentally ill. ↪️返回第10章《宿命通》的目录↪️ Return to Catalog of Chapter 10
