刚刚在芝加哥度过了四天难忘的日子，身、心、灵都得到了休息，也得到了充实。以前曾经去过那个城市，很美，可惜这次一直封闭在宾馆里面，没有时间到户外参观游览。

每到年终岁尾都喜欢盘点过去一年的收获，一直到新年钟声敲响。去年一年似乎没有什么特别的，日子轻飘飘地一天天过去，每过去一天生命便减少一天。但是似乎也没有什么值得遗憾的，该做得也都做了，计划基本上都完成了：写了一些博客文章 （原计划写一百篇，完成一百篇），与人合作出了一部书，回了一趟中国，工作轻松，家庭幸福，身体健康，日子 过得还算充实，心里很感恩。

新年祈愿：希望做些更有意义的事情，但是不想把自己弄得太紧张，凡事随其自然。保持好心情，少激动、少生气；保持健康--希望每周参加健身活动；多参加户外活动：如郊游、野炊、野营、钓鱼等。每晚争取12点之前上床睡觉（这个愿许了三四年了，一直没能实现）；希望年中和家人一起度一次假，那感觉很不 一样；希望多读些书，多思考些问题；希望发表几篇文章，出一本书；继续写博客，但是不给自己规定硬性指标，那样太累人。可能有一些重要的、困难的决定要做，希望能得着属天的智慧，做出正确的选择。

朋友寄来了一个幻灯片，题目叫《生活中的45课》，挺有意思，也挺有道理。新的一年，希望努力做到其中的一部分。

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
